Experts Say Going To Festivals Could Help You Live Longer

Blog

According to a recent study by UK music venue O2 and Goldsmith's University associate lecturer Patrick Fagan, attending concerts, shows and festivals can increase your life expectancy by up to nine years.

As well as living longer, the study advises that just 20 minutes of live entertainment increased “feeling of wellbeing” by 21 percent. Amazingly, this was twice as effective as yoga is and three times as much from dog walking.

The feelings of wellbeing were measured from self-worth (25%), closeness to others (25%), and mental stimulation (75%).

So if you want to live a longer life, get yourself to that next music festival!
